(From the researched I did that is what makes the most sense to me - if you are more knowledgable on this please let me know)Has a 253/52 number inside with a number 58 round sweatband.CONDITION: pre-owned condition - from other helmets online it seems to be missing some sort of medal symbol in the front and some sort of material wrapping around the hat covering those staples. There are spots (rust?) and stains all over the hat. Underneath is very clean. Considering its from the 40s not bad shape.
