. Rare vintage whimsical Poupee Millet doll signed by artist Pablo Pares. Made in Paris, France. Made 1987. Doll is a soft multicolor fabric bean filled body with handpaitned ceramic legs, hands, neck, head & fanciful headdress. Measures 12" tall/8.5" wide/2.5" deep. Poupee Millet dolls are truly unique works of art. Eat one is individually handcrafted and sewn. Each has a fanciful Headdress & a myriad of exotic fabrics, no two dolls are alike. In 1983 the Poupee Millet studio opened in Paris with two artists: Serge Chichportich, born in Paris & Pablo Pares, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each doll is signed by the artist.. The doll is in excellent condition. No chipping or stains. Some glue at back of neck but a remnant from the fabrication of the doll. See last picture
