Stunning length of mid century furnishings fabric in a phenomenal pastoral scenic and lush roses floral pattern. Beautiful large scale ruins and statuary amidst trees and foliage. Joyful yellow gold and old olive hues accented with subtle hints of minty green on a whitish/sllghtly off white ground. The back is satinized. It is mid density, heavier with a subtle shantung or linen weave. Probably a rayon. Textiles of this nature were generally used for drapery, upholstery and custom bedding in their day. This is a fine example~ simply beautiful and so well maintained & clean.
Excellent for home pieces; pillows, windows, lamps as well as decorative period upholstery and an abundance of creative period projects; millenery, bags etc..Would also make lovely backdrops for staging.
