Vintage P&O Art Collection Placemats Set of 8 Steam Ships Art Prints Place MatsArt prints of paintings are hand-applied to these mats from England. Lacquered, hand-gilded edges, heat-resistant and felt-backed. Clean with moist cloth.CONDITION: Overall, these placemats are in good condition but they have flaws. I've attempted to be thorough in this description. Please ask if you have any questions.First, the box is in rough condition with with staining of the paper either from liquid exposure or the glue used. Scuffing, some tearing, and loss of the blue box paper covering is pictured.In the 10th photo, I'm pointing to what appears to be adhesive residue. On the same mat, there is an irreularlity in the coating that shows as shiny spots. Note that the glue applied to the back of the art prints has caused some rippling - this is most visible on the 3rd to last picture with a chopstick as a pointer. Gilding on the edge of placemats has flaws.Features:
