This listing is for a vintage Olympia manual desktoptypewriter that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. The color of thetypewriter is an off white and black 2 toneand it was made in Japan. I just tested this classic out and it works great...BUT....PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIBBON INSTALLED OR THE RIBBON HOLDERS INSIDE THE TYPEWRITER!!THE TYPEWRITER WILL NOT TYPE ONTO PAPER WITHOUT THESE ITEMS BEING PRESENT INSIDE THE TYPEWRITER.

I did tested this out by typing each letter 3x fast in both upper and lower case to make sure that none of the keys stuck.The serial number is 6003357 and whenI checked the serial number dateabase online, it comes up that this is a SM9 series and the build date was 1979 - which was the last year for Olympia typewriters. The back calls this a model B12.
