Vintage Nobis Bene Nemini Sequitur Cura Latin Italian Small Gold Tape Measure:

This is a vintage gold tone, small metal round vintage tape measure. It is about 1.5 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick. One side features a classical women’s head and says “BENE…NEMINI…MALE…NOBIS…” The other side says: CRESCENTEM SEQUITUR CURA PECUNIAM.” This roughly translates to “As wealth grows, so do worries..”. The tape measure inside is silver tone.

As can be seen in photos, there is some color wear and light wear overall to gold tone color, especially on the sides where tape measure is handled. The tape measure retracts, especially if let go and snapped quickly but sometime stops 1 or 2 inches before full retraction. The tape may just need more use or some light oiling. Otherwise, everything is good.

This is a neat collectible item and very unique!
