Vintage Moorcroft pottery tube lined small pin dish in the Hibiscus pattern.
Tube lining is a technique where soft clay is piped from a bag via a fine tube onto the clay. This creates an outline for a design that can later be enhanced by further painted decoration.
MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND and light Moorcroft Royal Warrant Paper label (label transferred to Walter Moorcroft in 1946 and stating \'By Appointment Potters To The Late Queen Mary\'. The Royal warrant expired in 1978 on the anniversary of Queen Mary\'s death.)
Walter Moorcroft, February 12 1917 - September 2 2002.4.5\" wide. 3/4\" tall.
