Vintage Millicent Ceramic Cookie Jar by Taste Setter Sigma, Excellent Condition.
Rare vintage cookie jar. The inscription on the bottom reads: MILLICENT, TasteSetter by Sigma, Designed by David Straus. Beautifully hand painted and detailed cookie jar of old woman carrying a basket of apples. Millicent was an English suffragist (one who campaigned for women to have the vote) and an early feminist. She lived from 1847-1929.This cookie jar is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no cracks or chips. Also, very clean and looks unused. I do not know exactly how old this piece is. It measures about 12" high and about 6" in diameter. High gloss finish. Please see pics and zoom in for your own due dilligance and final assessment.
