This vintage Mealpack Corp food container is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts of kitchen storage and organization. The round container, with a diameter of 10 inches and a height of 4 inches, is made of stainless steel and comes with a snap lock lid to keep food fresh warm or cold.

The container is insulated and has a silver color, with a theme of food. It was manufactured between 1920 and 1949 and is an original piece, not a licensed reproduction. The Mealpack brand is known for its quality and durability, making this container a valuable addition to any collection. I was told these were used particularly by hospitals, factory cafeteria, military and hotels. I never seen one before. I think there should be a plate of somesort inside which is missing.

Estate treasure sold as found. It is in very good vintage condition, surface wear and scratches prove that it was very used. So whether you want for actual use or display it is certainly a conversation starter.
