Vintage Marksons’ TAPE RECORDER SHAPE AM Solid State Radio Hong Kong w/ Box MCM.
Tested and works great! Appears hardly used in very nice shape. Still in original box with packaging and manual sheet. Powered by 4 AA batteries in back panel. Battery compartment is clean with no corrosion or rust.
Radio operates by using the 2 reels on the top of the unit. The left reel is the power/volume knob. It is a little loose but works perfectly. The right reel is the tuning knob. All of the other buttons, dials and mic/headphone inputs are purely cosmetic and do not function. The LED indicator light works as well when a station is dialed in.
Great vintage novelty AM radio! Very rare and difficult to find another like it! Especially in this condition with original box. Approx dimensions 5” wide, 6” tall, 3” deep.
