Vintage MJ Hummel Porcelain 24 Spice Jars With Wooden Rack Danbury Mint READ. Shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, UPS Ground, or USPS Ground Advantage.
Up for sale is this Vintage Danbury Mint 24 Spice Jars and Wooden Rack. The jars are porcelain and have gold gilding. Each one has a picture by MJ Hummel, the name of the spice on the front with a description of where the Spice originated and what food it pairs well with on the back. The bottom of each jar shows MJ Hummel, copyright ARS/AG Cham Switzerland 1987, D over M (for Danbury Mint) made in Japan.
This set is in good condition with no chips cracks or repairs made, EXCEPT FOR THE ALLSPICE LID. It was broken and has been repaired but there is a piece still missing. It does not have a rubber seal. The ALLSPICE jar does not have any issues and is in good condition.
Some of the rubber seals are a little loose and a few are discolored. These may be replaceable, I'm not 100% sure. Each spice jar is approximately 4 inches tall and 1.5 inches in diameter. The wooden rack is 21.25 inches tall, 18-7/8 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. It is 4 inches deep if you include the knob on the door. Approximate measurements of the rack are shown in the photos.
Each jar has been hand-washed, dried, and inspected for flaws.
