material is a type of felt material and the face is hard. the doll comes in its original box. I did not remove the doll from the box as it is still tied in, it has never been played with . The original tags are on, the original tag that is sewed into the doll that reads \"Lenci Torino\" . The doll has its original Hand Painted.
