Hard to find, vintage Kolster Model K-110 cathedral radio that is a great candidate for restoration. Radio is only able to get some humming. The radio will probably need to have capacitors replaced to get it fully functional. The power cord is a new replacement. The grill cloth is a period replacement and is in excellent condition. The finish on the radio is all original, but worn in spots and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. The Fleur De Lis accent on the right column is missing and there are four holes on the left side of the radio that have been filled with wood putty. It appears at one point there was a Kolster Rejectostat was attached to the radio, that has since been relocated to the interior of the radio on top of the transformer. One of the feet is missing from the bottom and has been replaced with some wood, but it is barely noticeable. There are also some stress cracks on the top of the radio. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. Great looking and highly desireable Sparton radio to add to your collection.
