Vintage Ivory/Gray Shagreen Sharkskin Bakelite Table Lamp, 8 * 20:

This gorgeous lamp is composed of shagreen or sharkskin with a grayish ivory colored base with bluish gray veins. The edging appears to be Bakelite or some type of early brittle plastic. There are some cracks, chips, and discolorations in the plastic/Bakelite bottom pieces from age, but nothing major. The lamp has been tested and works.The lamp has a 8” square base supported by ¾ * 1 ½* square Bakelite legs. Atop the square base rests a 7” square with angled sides. The 10 ¾” square column leads to a 3” * 1” square platform. Overall the lamp measures 20”.The electrical base may have been replaced prior to my ownership.
