This was found in a central Illinois field, dug up and carefully cleaned as best as possible.
Heavy green hued glass bottle, from what I\'ve read it was a soda bottle.It is marked with the \"tombstone\" shaped imprinted words C.J. Peterson Springfield ILL and also has a raised \"P\" on the bottom of the bottle. It is 6 5/8th inches tall.There is a very small chip on the rim of the opening (a \"blob top\") but otherwise intact. You can also see the in-glass bubbles that I have read are important to collectors.
Really cool piece of Mid-Western history.
