Renowned Hungarian house, Herend, founded in 1826, known for their high-quality porcelain and hand-painted ceramics. This highly collectible De Rothschildlamp with hand-painted birds and 24 ct gold accents. This line was created in the 1860;s for the Rothschild family, inspired by a story of Baroness de Rothchild\'s necklace, which was said to have been stolen by a bird. There is some pulling on one corner of the silk lampshade, which is noticeable only when close.
