Vintage Heredities cold cast bronze Dachshund sculpture by English artist sculptor Jean Spouse. Originally sold by the English house Heredities. Jean Spouse was an English artist born in Hartlepool, England, in 1945. Her work was mostly in animals as her interest was that of a naturalist. This vintage bronze sculpture features a male dachshund in a reclined position chewing on a shoe. This vintage sculpture is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, or other imperfections. The bottom is covered in brown baize covering. The bronze measures 2 ½” high, 4.25” long, and 1 ¾” wide.
This figurine may be signed by J. Spouse but hard to distinguish between the possible signature and the texture of the piece.
