Offering for sale…a RARE, beautiful condition, HELMSCENE tv lamp light featuring a tropical display of the iconic pink FLAMINGOS 🦩wading in the water among the palm trees and flowering trees. Original gold foil sticker on the back show identifying information…HELMSCENE, HELMS PRODUCTS, INC., Grand Rapids 5, Mich. Top and back of lamp is that of hard plastic material with front and sides being a rounded softer plastic insert of tropical scenery, bottom is open. This flamingo lamp joins the highly coveted LANE &CO., Van Nyes, CA 50’s 60’s collectible and vintage tv light, however this lamp is not as common as the ceramic lamps. Measuring approximately 13” X 5” X 10.5” high and lights up beautifully. The top has an Art Deco design surrounding the on/off switch giving off an ambiance of deco design when lit…original electrical cord attached, with no damage. MCM, Mid Century Modern, retro, vintage, eclectic, Mid Mod, tropical, country farmhouse, rustic lake cabin/cottage, 50’s Eames Era, Art Deco, atomic Jetson’s 60’s space age, 70’s hippie funky appeal. Will display well with a collection of iconic Will George or Brad Keebler vintage ceramic flamingo figurines, vintage tv lamps or any collections of 50s 60s memorabilia.
