Vintage Granco Tube Radio for parts or display as ishis is a Granco model LUC, a UHF TV converter from about 1954. It allowed older TVs that only tuned channels 2-13 to receive the then-new UHF channels (14-83). The FCC didn\'t require TVs to tune UHF until 1964, so many companies made converters. This model is identical to the Jerrold model FTC converter. It\'s a pity about the broken Bakelite cabinet, and the missing knob. The knobs and the cabinet are the only thing that differentiates this model from the much more common model LCU (also called \"the Star\").
