Very charming vintage set of Mid Century framed hand painted tiles for your home or office. These framed tiles came from the California porcelain company of Gladding McBean, and were hand painted by artist H. Harvin in the early 1950\'s. The two tiles feature a small California ranch style house from the front (and is marked as to whose house it was, in Whittier, California) and the second tile features a little girl sitting in a backyard enjoying the garden...these are both by the same painter and presumed to be a front and back yard diptych. The meaning is quite sweet and sentimental. Measuring 8.75\" square in the frames with a 6\" square tile. Oddly mounted with red tape on the backside, but seems quite secure. Some dents, dings to the frame which is age appropriate (see last photo for reference).
