Vintage EVANS Petite Pocket LIGHTER UAW Region 8 Advertising United Auto Workers US PAT RE. 19023
Purchased from an estate with other vintage lighters, this full automatic Evans lighter was produced under license from Ronson as part of the settlement agreement after Ronson successfully sued Evans for patent infringement.
Marketed as "Evans Lighters" during this era, these lighter are very similar mechanically to their Spitfire predecessor. Their mechanisms use flush fulcum pins and the flint screws are marked "U.S. PAT RE.19023" (Ronson's reissue patent number). Evans Lighters were produced for approximately seven years, from June 1945 until June 1952.

Condition:This Evans petite lighter is in very good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age. Lighter sparks but doesn't light because it needs fuel. Please see photos.
