I removed the globes and washed them. They are beautiful and I can find no chips or flaw. The elderly man I purchased them from attached a plug-in cord to show me they worked. I left that on but easy to remove. Some people describe these as pineapple pattern. I lightly dusted the chains and cord. These came out of a house built in the 1950s.
