Vintage drafting set by Dietzgen is a nice collectible for a draftsman. This set isorganized in a protective case. The brand is well-known for producing high-quality drafting tools, and this set is no exception. Seems to be missing only one small piece - might be a point for one of the compasses?
Not sure of the case material - leather? --I\'ll say \"faux\" leather. interioris royal blue velvet.
Dietzgenwas made in Germany, but the metal tag and the cloth inside says \"Made in the USA\" -- I know nothing about the company - did they have a U.S. office or plant here?.
It does look to have been stored somewhere damp as there are small rust spots on the cloth from some of the turn/dials, but should clean up nicely. I have not polished - as I know some collectors treasure the \"patina\".
