This is aDeForest of California, Onion Jar complete with lid that is crying throughsquinting eyes. This piece is clean inside and out. The underside of the jarhas the “DeForest of California HandPainted” marking. There is a small chip under the glaze on the jar as well as avery small chip and a light age line. The age line is most noticeable on theinside. There is a white line under the glaze where coloring was missed, alsoon the jar. The lid has a small, smooth indent which when looked at with amagnifying glass does not appear to be a chip. It has the usual all overcrazing. It is approximately 4 ½ inchestall with lid on.
