Used An unique find for any collector. Beautiful crewel work with various stitching and symbols. Signs of wear and light discoloration
▪︎ History of Transportation 1966 Initialed "D.S.S."
▪︎ My Country 1967 Initialed "D.S.S."
Original wood and glass frames are primitive in design and condition. The linen is wrapped around the framed plywood and nailed. "My Country" has a water mark stain in the lower right-hand corner. Along the frames' edge under the glass, there are fragments of wood from the frame? / soil? / mildew? I can't say for certain. The glass could possibly be removed for further inspection and the issue addressed.
