Vintage Conway Stewart No 22 Rare Floral Fountain Pen in Excellent Condition:
$1076.00

This vintage \'Conway Stewart No 22 Floral\' fountain pen is a rare find - manufactured in England in a single run between 1955-56. It is rarely found in this excellent vintage condition without yellowing or cracks discernible to the eye.

As to the provenance of this pen - it was a gift from my grandfather to my grandmother in the 1950s and has been boxed for most of its life - very rarely used!

It is for sale in it\'s original box labelled \'No. 22 Floral Conway Stewart\' as pictured. The pen\'s flowers are well defined and of excellent colour and brightness. The pen has the 14K gold Conway Stewart vintage nib along with the original gold pocket clip, gold trims and logo\'s at the fill lever and on its cap - including the No 22\'s iconic Grecian Style gold band around the cap. All gold is in good vintage condition with just a little surface scratching, as expected in a 70 year old pen. All detail can be seen in the attached pictures - including the clear branding \'Conway Stewart No 22 Made in England\' embossed along the pen itself. It is also in good working order at this time of listing although it has never been refurbished - simply cleaned with water.

This Conway Stewart No. 22 Floral lever-fill fountain pen is on most serious collectors most wanted list. The pen was released to coincide with Conway Stewart\'s 1955 Golden Jubilee. The pen colour and unique floral pattern were made from paper between layers of celluloid.
