Vintage Cepelia Opole Poland Hand Decorated Signed Folk Art TeapotI purchased this teapot and other Cepelia Opole pieces from a Philadelphia estate of a woman who worked for the State Department and traveled worldwide. She acquired these pieces from Poland in the 1970s and used them only for display.
This gorgeous teapot, from 1978, is 6\" tall X 7\" wide, the opening is 3 1/2\" in diameter, and it holds 20 fluid ounces. The pot weighs 1 lb. 2 ounces and is in like-new condition, there are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Enlarge photos for detail.
This teapot was from the workshop of Cepelia Opolska in Opole, Poland. Hand-painted and initialed by one of their master artists, in one of their typical folk art designs.
