Vintage CASE XX 1940-1964 6220 "Peanut" Late Rogers Bovine Bone Handles Scarce:

This is a vintage Case 6220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife.

The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.

The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and pinned ovalCASE shield.

The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.

Both blades have strong snap with half stops.

Both blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble.

Scarce “late Rogers” bovine bone handles have great color,no cracks or damage.

Used, carried, looks like it was never sharpened.

Both blades are full with patina and staining as the photosshow.

The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
