Vintage Case XX 1940-1964 6292 Texas Jack Dark Bovine Bone - Solid Used Knife:

CASE XX 1940-1964 stamp.

Pattern # 6292 “Texas Jack”, 4” closed.

Nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield.

The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.

The dark chestnut bovine bone handles have minor pocket wear, no cracks or damage.

A used knife – carried and sharpened.

Main clip blade – minor sharpening loss. Strong snap, tightno wobble.

Pen blade – near full. Strong snap, tight no wobble.

The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
