Vintage Handpainted Bisque Boy with Wheelbarrow Planter Figurine Container made in Germany. Dimensions are 5 3/4” long x 5” tall x 3” deep. Condition is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The boy is bisque and the sled is glazed ceramic with hand painting and applied gold balls. The gold paint normally wears off on these pieces but on this piece it is intact. Made by Weiss, Kuhnert & Co., Grafenthal, who are known for their detailed work. The mark was used from 1900-1956 but I believe this piece would be on the early end of that time frame given the detailed hand painting. It's a great piece!
