Specific to this item: This plate/bowl is 10\" wide. I would describe it as a deep plate or a shallow bowl. This is a white plate/bowl with a teal square and elegant pastel flowers.

The outside edge of the plate is scalloped with two cut outs for handles. The plate also has raised embossing in the porcelain. There are places where the gold is lighter from use. The back of the plate shows no maker marks.

There are no chips or cracks. There are places where the gold and teal are lighter from years of use. See photo.

General information about antique plates and bowls: I am listing a large collection ofantique plates and bowls. Many of these items are over 100 years old.For me, much of the charm and love for these pieces is thinking abouthow many times they have been lovingly used and passed down throughthe generations. As I was wiping these dishes down to get them readyfor their new homes, it was heart warming to think that they willcontinue to be cherished.

Owing and appreciating these dishesincludes accepting that they have signs of use. If there are anyobvious signs of chips that I see, I will note them. Also use the photos as aguide to the condition. It is common for them to have signs of age,use and wear.
