This is a NICE 2-coaster set with a stained solid wood case and gift box. It is heavy, about 1.5 pounds. As you probably know Augusta College had some controversial name changes starting in 1995.
My dad was a long time professor at Augusta College in the 1960's-1990's. He received this at his 35 year mark, which would have been 1994. I removed the "35 year" plaque that was stuck to the front edge. The glue residue came off nicely, so there's no trace of it. These coasters were never used at all for drinks. They're too nice! The edges seem to be a heavy brass. Local pickup available. I have more Augusta College items that I have not listed yet. So let me know if you're interested in seeing more.
