Vintage Aristo Multilog 970 10-inch Slide Rule w/ orig case
This Aristo Multilog 970 slide rule is in excellent used condition. No cracks or discernible scratches in cursor lenses; cursor runners are excellent. The original owner, Jesco Baron von Puttkamer, wrote his name (very neatly) on the back of the case. He was recruited by Wehrner von Braun to come to America from Germany and join NASA in the early years of development of the Saturn V rocket. Search online, on Wikipedia, and on the NASA site for more information about Puttkamer's life and work.
