Up for sale is this really nice early Apache basket of willow and devil\'s claw. The baskets is free of breaks and repairs, has an intact rim, is masterfullywoven and beautifully designed. The red dye design feature is faded from age (aniline dyes were introduced into the southwest in the 1860\'s). On the bottom if you look carefully, there is a small worn spot on the bottom where you can make out the willow rod on which the basket was woven (not visible on the inside). This basket displays wonderfully, of fine quality and would be a great addition to any collection. oops...meant to enter $625
