This item comes from a tool chest that dates back 3 generations in our family(I am 86). I note this because I am selling items from this tool chest that date back to late 1800's or early 1900's. This information is provided for those who collect old tools or purchase old bolts/washers/nuts for restoration of older items.

I do not know exactly how this works, but I do know a quality made tool. Weighs 5.7 oz.The wood handle with metal end extends just over 5". The wood handle has 1 1/4" diameter.The working end of handle has hole drilled in it for placement of long screw with working nut. See Photos.Item from tool chest referenced above.
