\"Y\" plates would have been issued in 1968/1969 so most period correct for those year cars - but 1963 to 1967 cars could have received these plates then if the car was brought in to CA at that time, or if the original plates were lost, stolen or damaged.

*DMV CLEAR* NOT RESTORED. Avoid restored plates at all costs! The rear plates is excellent here, with the \"front\" plate having some patina on the left top bolt hole area above the CA in CALIFORNIA. But overall an xlnt set that is hard to source.

You can register these DMV clear and original paint black plates from the CA DMV to any 1963 to 1969 foreign or domestic car or \'passenger vehicle\' (NOT FOR TRUCKS) in California in the DMV\'s year of manufacture (YOM) program.

Guaranteed DMV \'clear\' (not in their system and not assigned any car) so they can be used in the Year of Manufacture Program for registeringto any 1963 through 1969 car or passenger vehicle in CA with a year sticker required on 1 license plate for the 1964 to 1969 car you wish to register these to.

I do have 1964 to 1969 year tags/stickers (requirement for YOM approval for 1964 to 1969 cars) - a $35+ value - just let me know which year you need and I will include it free.

It only costs $10 a year to retain these plates annually in the DMV\'s YOM program --- so you can also forget about getting those silly new custom Legacy black plates which are up to $80 a year to keep/register. And your vintage 1963 to 1969 car better not be running white plates on it after seeing this ad.
