Driving School Car License Plate
Used on driving lessons
Manufactured and used in the 1960\'s until the 1980\'s and was mounted on the frontand back of a vehicle to show others that a learner driver is in control of thevehicle. Only authorized cars were permitted to show this plate which wereowned by licensed driving instructors or driving school cars. This plate wasnever used on private cars.
This plate has a black Hebrew letter \"ל\" (similar to the \"L\" letter used in U.K. for \"Learner\")on a blue and white background. It has a bracket on the back side that was usedto attach the plate next to the car\'s license plate. It has a folding hinge soif not in use, the driving instructor can fold it.
It the 1990\'s these plates were changed into magnetic stickers or roof signslike taxis. Made from hard plastic.

Condition: good
the cosmetic condition is good and will only need
some cleaning. I did not attempt to clean it since I have no idea how todo it properly. This will make a fine addition to any car license plate collection.

Shipment fee: toUSA& Canada: 16.50, to the U.K. & Europe: $14.50, to Australia and Japan:$38.50 (Airmail+Registered post) and in Israel $6.50 (Registered post or pick-up). I normally use Registered Air Mail(with limited internet tracking) for items valued up to $100. If the customer prefers a courier-basedshipping service such as Priority airmail orEMS (Express Mail Service with full Internet tracking & more insurance)and is willing to cover the higher costs, I will be happy to accommodate. In the case of lost or damaged items, Registered Airmail coverscompensation for the item value & postage costs up to $100 maximum. Higher levels of compensation are includedonly in the EMS services. It takes up to 3 or more weeks for delivery.Sometimes postal service is getting slower especially at weekends and holiday.Occasionally there may be delays because of extra security checks at the postoffice.
