Advertising Tin! (England, New York City)

Up for sale is a Vintage “Saint’s Satin Wax Furniture Polish” Advertising Tin! This vintage tin was made in England for Saint’s Satin Wax and available at 521 Fifth Avenue, New York City back in the 1950s or earlier. This is a rare 5 oz. furniture polish tin with metal top and bottom sections. The tin has wonderful multi-color lithography advertising graphics and instructions for use. The tin measures about 3¼” x 4⅜” x 1” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin is in good condition for its age with bright colors and sharp lithography. It does have some wear and soiling, including some scuffs or scratches, small marks, and a possibly a light ding or dent that you would expect for such an old tin container. The interior is still shiny with a little wax residue as shown. The top and bottom sections fit together well. This vintage “Saint’s Satin Wax” advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
