Vintage 1940-50s Rubicon Stretch Pen And Mechanical Pencil Brooch RARE:

This rare brooch by Rubicon dates from 1940s-1950s and is in super condition!

The entire brooch measures 2 3/4" long and 1" wide. The top silver tone art deco style swirl at the top holds the brass stretch pen and pencil via tiny clips.

When closed, the collapsed duo measures 1 3/4". Both pieces stretch out to about 3 1/4" long. The mechanical pencil still has lead in it. The pen has no ink in its brass cylinder.

Both pieces are marked on the bottom "PAT. PEND. - STRETCH - RUBICON". The top pin itself is not marked.

The pen and pencil fit tightly in their respective brass tubes, so there is no fear of them dropping out while wearing, or after using.

Although this piece is in great shape, there is some clouding to the silver tone on the left side.

The brooch has a locking clasp that works well and is secure for wear.
