This historic Hershey chocolate bar mold looks almost brand new! When collecting condition is everything, and you'll be hard pressed to find another in this condition!

This pan was from the estate of a gentleman who's father was the farmer for the original Milton Hershey School. The reason they were pulled and no longer used, is because they had used lead in the corners to solder and seal them up, these were the originals. It was acknowledged in the early 1900s that lead and lead-containing paint was a main source of lead poisoning among children, and the use of lead in, and on, products such as food items, paint, children’s toys or cribs was banned in several countries by the end of the 1920s.

Milton Hershey School History
Milton Hershey School began as a dream and vision shared by chocolate magnate Milton S. Hershey and his wife, Catherine (Kitty). The Hersheys loved children but were unable to have their own. Instead, they decided to use their wealth to create a home and school for orphaned boys. The history of Milton Hershey School dates back to its founding on Nov. 15, 1909.

About Us

MdArchitectural Rescue is a different type of recycling company. We have operated in Baltimore and surrounding areas since 1996. After starting out rescuing fireplace mantles and cast iron door locks from construction dumpsters, we have opened our eyes to may types of waste that are often over looked and fall through the cracks. Our focus is and always will be vintage items of the highest quality. But with our eyes now open we put a lot of effort in bringing you high end collectibles from every industry available and at a very reasonable price. All our items are salvaged and are for the most part American Made. One week we could be in an old School, Brewery, Factory, and the following weekat a Shipyard or Power plant, you just never know. Also, one day we may be removing Vintage lighting, the next day Signs and Vintage blueprints and the following day cleaning out a machine shop or high end parts room. We literally have NO idea what we have coming around corner, so make sure you add us to your favorites and check back often.
