Fresh out of an old Los Angeles area estate collection, this handsome 10 in. diameter footed burl wood bowl is 2.5 in. tall and is beautifully turned and shows considerable age. We can only speculate on the wood type. There is considerable patina on the bowl surface and does not appear to have been used but rather was an object of display. Adding only a bit of lemon oil really brings the beautiful grain of the burl wood out front and center. There is no mark offering any info on origin.
