Published by Dynamite Entertainment (2019), the story-line is \"Seduction of the Innocent\" (Part 1). The comic is alimited collector\'s edition,single issue, in color style, 1st printing, comes bagged & boarded, and in the English language. The comic features characters set in the Dynamite Alternate Universe in the genres of superheroes, action/adventure, good girl/bad girl art, occult/supernatural, vampire/fantasy, horror and sci-fi. This limited collector\'s edition comic is intended for a general audience and is a must-have for any Vampirella fans and collectors. Vampirella is a vampire superheroine created by Warren Publishing\'s Forrest J Ackerman (writer) and Trina Robbins (artist) in a black-and-white horror comics magazine (Vampirella #1). Archie Goodwin (Writer-editor) developed the character from horror-story hostesses into the horror-drama leading character sometime after issue #8 (Nov. 1970). The magazine was published continuously until Warren Publishing ceased operations (1983). Warren\'s assets were bought by Harris Publications and then acquired by Dynamite Entertainment (March 17, 2010). This publisher started a new ongoing series with Vampirella #1 (November 2010). Another new monthly series (Vampirella and the Scarlet Legion) was released in May 2011 as a sister to the main title lasting 38 issues before concluding in January 2014. Dynamite, also, revived the series Vengeance of Vampirella (2019). This was the Harris Comics contribution the the Vampirella legacy. Dynamite hired the original writer of that series (Thomas Sniegoski) to continue where he left off in the original series. Another Harris contribution to the Vampirella continuum was a relaunching of Vampirella with the miniseries Morning In America, written by Kurt Busiek. Through the story \"Mystery Walk\" Harris made a revision of Vampirella\'s origin; herein she learns that she is, in fact, the daughter of Lilith instead of being from another planet (Draculon). Lilith has been depicted as the first wife of Adam in popular medieval Jewish lore. Being a woman of very strong will and rather ill temperament, Lilith would not submit to Adam. God cast her out of Eden and instead of being the mother of all humans, she spawned demons. She later repented and returned to Eden to bear children to fight the very evil that she had created. Her first attempt was Madek and Magdalene, who turned to evil; Vampirella was her second. Vampirella possesses many of the typical powers of mythological vampires: Immortality; super-strength; speed (moveing so fast that she appears as a blur of motion) & heightened senses -smell (tell one\'s emotional state through their scent), hearing (things imperceptible to humans), and sight (clearly in total darkness). She is incredibly athletic: possessing great stamina, reflexes, and agility beyond that of humans. Vampirella is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant and is shown to be skilled with modern-day firearms. She has/had the power to grow a giant pair of chiropteran wings to allow self-propelled flight. Her stare and even voice are hypnotic and seductive to humans, (particularly males); power of telepathy (being able to hear the voices of demons inside Jackie Estacado\'s mind). Her healing factor grants her great resilience and immunity; allowing her to heal rapidly from her wounds, illness & toxins.
Gregbo Watson is a digital artist, illustrator and comic book artist with a twisted imagination and dark sense of humor. Both of which are mirrored in his art and illustration style. His work is heavily influenced by the many ghostly legends and southern folktales he was raised on during his childhood. Spooky stories filled with off beat characters, wicked witches, ghosts and goblins fascinated his imagination. He does commissions and works on freelance projects pulling from this vast imagination while working on projects for Upper Deck, Zenescope, & Marvel from his studio in Easley, SC. His work is known for the dark, cruelly twisted aesthetic with bold forms and creepy characters. Though a master craftsman in the visual arts his primary tools these days are digital (Manga Studio, Sketchbook Pro, Adobe Photoshop). From his style and attention to detail one can appreciate that he must have cut his teeth on traditional media techniques, as thouroughly evidenced in the layers and texturing in his work.
