Vagabond"" is a Japanese manga work by Takehiko Inoue. It is based on the novel ""Musashi Miyamoto"" by Eiji Yoshikawa.

It won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the 4th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2000, the 24th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category, and the 6th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize Manga Grand Prize in 2002. As of December 2020, a total of 82 million copies of the manga have been sold.

The story is about Miyamoto Musashi, a great swordsman, and depicts his adolescence at the end of the age of swords, at the turning point between the late Sengoku and Edo periods. The story depicts Musashi's struggle to establish himself as a swordsman after his dreams of a successful career were dashed at a major historical turning point, as well as the many martial artists associated with Musashi, including Kojiro Sasaki, famous for his duel with Musashi at Ganryujima Island.
