Wow, is this ever the real thing--exactly what I picture when I think of Barkcloth. Tropical print with fanciful palm trees (unless they\'re tropical flowers with very thick stem?), big splashy leaves and fronds, lots of 1940s-50s color on a nubby textured cream background. Reds, Pink, Greens, Aqua, plus some Golden Yellow and shades of Brown on Cream. Edges are all hemmed. This grand old survivor of a curtain panel is not without its issues: a small paint spatter, 2 small spots, a smallish hole, then some big holes all on one end. Most of the piece is in very good condition as 40s Barkcloth goes (please see photos). 35\" x 40\". The fabric seems strong, the colors vibrant, and the print is classic!
