VTG Artemex Talavera Mexico Lovely Handpainted Red Clay Bird Candle/Incense :
$24.00

This vintage Artemex Talavera taper candleholder or possibly an incense holder is a beautiful addition to any fan or collector of vibrant Mexican pottery. The hand-painted red clay is brilliantly-enhanced with an array of lovely colors and designs that were exceptionally hand-painted. The wings, peacock-like tail feather, the face and scrolls are all lovely! The bird design showcases the rich culture of Mexican pottery. The brand is well-known for its quality and unique designs, making this piece a must-have for collectors of Latin American art. This stands on its bottom, and the candle/incense holder is under the red & yellow flower. There is a sturdy hook on the back for hanging, but it can stand in its own, as well. This is in very good vintage condition, the only damage is a small chip on one of the petals of the flower (see last photos for the chip and for measurements).

Crafted in Mexico, this candle/incense holder is a true work of art. The intricate details and use of high-quality materials make it a durable and meaningful piece. It's perfect for anyone who appreciates the beauty and history of Mexican culture.
