Reinhold Merkelbach is a German pottery firm located in Hohr-Grenzhausen. It was established in 1845 and closed in 2007. The style of stamp on the bottom of this mug indicates it was made between 1970 and 1978.
\"Echte Salzglasur Merkelbach\" translated to English means \"Real Salt gas Merkelbach\"
\"Landkreis\" is written on one side of the mug which in English translates to \"County\"
