I bought this fairly recently along with 4 other jars !!! and garden ware from a house in Monterey ca that an older couple had cleared out for a deceased uncle many years ago and put in in their lovely yard, it was very well taken care of. Original owner had the gardening bug and decorated the grounds with wonderful things. I love this piece dearly, I looked for something like it and the second photo shows all I found and it was gladding which I am pretty sure this is. The condition is very very good, strong undamaged glaze, a popped bubble, small unchipped off lite crack by lip, see photo , not fragile, it’s not signed but clearly numbered! Pick up or I can deliver to la for a fee, really don’t want to ship unless I have to, so ask me if that’s what you need, very heavy, 16” tall and more in photos!
