Dating to the the mid 1930’s, this handsomely styled desk/occasional lamp evidences strong modernist design elements. The stepped design of both base and shade is reflective of American skyscraper architecture. This lamp has been restored and refurbished and is in excellent working order. All external metal components have been refinished n contrasting chrome plate and satin black enamel. The switch socket has been refurbished with new vintage stock. All wiring has been refurbished with new period reproduction rayon covered cord and appointed with a vintage style plug. This lamps utilizes a standard medium base Edison bulb (not included). It is strongly suggested that an LED bulb be utilized to reduce heat transfer to the metal shade. Approximate dimensions are as follows:
