You are offerding on a vintage \"The Original\" Poppycock candytin manufactured by Poppycock Candies of Villa Park, Illinois. Pre-Orville Redenbacher era. Very attractive graphics featuring a nattily dressed rooster surrounded by pieces of this delicious candy. Container is composite construction with metal lids attached to a fiberboard cylinder. Label has some areas with light moisture spots and there is overspray droplets of paint. Lids have oxidation and some light surface rust spots. Study photos. Measures 5-1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches in height. Circa 1960s.
