Parke-Davis is a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.Although Parke, Davis & Co. is no longer an independentcorporation, it was once America\'s oldest and largest drug maker, andplayed an important role in medical history. In 1970 Parke-Davis wasacquired by Warner-Lambert, which in turn was acquired by Pfizer in2000.

Because it is an oldcompany, they have marketed many products that are no longer on themarket because of regulations and because of better products. Many ofthe P-D bottles I am selling are very rare and hard to find. Theywill become part of someone’s excellent collection.

Tar Dermament is an old old medication for the skin. It is madeof coal tar and diluted in alcohol, applied to the skin is protectedand sealed the skin as the alcohol evaporated. It was messy andstaining and fell completely out of favor when new skin remedies weredeveloped. A very rare find, probably from the 1950s.
